IT Consulting

Strategic technology guidance for leadership teams. We assess your current stack, identify what is holding you back, and produce a roadmap you can actually budget and hire against.

The situation

Non-technical founders and leadership teams are frequently asked to approve decisions they have no independent way to evaluate — a rewrite, a platform migration, a hiring plan. The only advice available usually comes from the person who benefits from the answer.

What is missing is a neutral read: what state the system is genuinely in, which risks are urgent versus merely untidy, and what sequence of work gets you where you are going for the least money.

What’s included

  • Technology stack assessment and audit
  • Architecture and scalability review
  • Technical debt analysis and prioritisation
  • Build-versus-buy and vendor evaluation
  • Engineering hiring and team structure advice
  • Roadmap planning with cost and effort estimates

What you get out of it

An independent read on decisions you cannot easily evaluate alone

Technical risk expressed in business terms

A sequenced roadmap you can budget against

Fewer expensive reversals later

How it runs

The engagement, step by step

  1. 01

    Listen

Interviews with leadership and engineers. The gap between how those two groups describe the same system is usually the most informative part.

  2. 02

    Assess

Codebase, infrastructure, delivery process, and team structure — measured against where the business is trying to get to, not against a generic best-practice checklist.

  3. 03

    Report

Findings written for a mixed audience, with risks framed in terms of cost and likelihood rather than technical severity alone.

  4. 04

    Roadmap

A sequenced plan with rough effort and cost, split into what is urgent, what is important, and what can safely wait.

Common questions

Will you recommend your own services?

Where we are genuinely the right fit, we will say so — and we will also say when you would be better served by hiring in-house or using a specialist. A roadmap that only ever concludes 'hire us' is not worth paying for.

How long does an assessment take?

It depends on the size of the system and team. We scope it after an initial conversation and quote a fixed price so there is no open-ended meter running.

Can you help with technical due diligence for an acquisition?

Yes — the same assessment work, framed for an investment decision: what you are buying, what it will cost to maintain, and what the integration risks are.

Need help with it consulting?

Tell us what you’re working on. We’ll come back within one business day with an honest read on whether we’re the right fit.
